You will need your child's school email address to complete the process. In addition to creating a Final Forms Profile, you will need to supply a Sports Physical prior to the first day of practice. If you get caught up in this process, please reach out to Kenzee Lauth, our ASB Bookkeeper, at [email protected].

If you have any questions, please feel free to email our athletic director, Ms. Frank at [email protected].

Reflections

activity

Reflections is a national art competition, hosted and administered by the National Parent-Teacher Association, for students K-12.  Students who submit art pieces have the opportunity to compete at both the state level, and winners from each state will have their pieces enrolled, on their behalf, to the national competition.

Each year there is a different theme to Reflections.  The themes are submitted via a separate art contest, the previous year, by students; and a winner is selected by the National PTA board for the following year’s theme.  This year’s theme is
“I belong!”

There are several categories available for students:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Film production
  • Literature
  • Music Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts

This competition also has a separate Accessible Arts division, with all the previously mentioned categories, for students with special needs.  The Accessible Arts division is solely for students with special needs, and their pieces are judged against other Accessible Arts submissions, according to each grade level. For the general education submissions, those pieces are also judged with other submissions, according to each grade level. There are specific requirements for each category.  These requirements, as well further information about the program, are available via the Reflections page of the national PTA web site:

https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections

For additional information, talk to Mrs. Marshall in Room 127. Entries are due by December 16.

Free & Reduced Price Meals

All families are encouraged to complete a Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits (CNEEB) Form.  This form will help qualify your student(s) for Free or Reduced Price Meals, reduction of school fees and Sunbucks Summer EBT benefits.  Completion of a CNEEB form also helps your child's school qualify for other benefits.

The federal government sets eligibility guidelines based on household income and size.

You may apply through our online lunch payment
portal:  https://linqconnect.com/main

Please note, there will not be any rollover from the previous year for waived fees.
Please remember to apply for Free and Reduced Meals and the Fee Waiver Program through Nutrition Services prior to paying fees. Qualifying for free or reduced meals may also help lower or waive other school fees such as ASB cards, event tickets, or testing fees.

Fees paid prior to becoming active in the Fee Waiver Program are non-refundable.

How to Talk to a Child About Mental Health

It is important for young people to hear that anxiety, stress, and negative emotions are completely normal in times of crisis. They also need to hear that there is always HOPE. In fact, just one positive nurturing relationship with an adult can help kids fight the effects of trauma. Talk to us about concerns you have:
