Raider Families,
It has been a great first full week at The Ridge! As we continue to settle into the school year, it has been great to see our students getting more comfortable with their classes, routines, and expectations. We are starting to move beyond simply getting back into the rhythm of school and diving into the different content areas.
This week, our assistant principals visited science classes to talk with students about their rights and responsibilities at school. We want our students to understand that being part of a school community means we all play a role in making Ridgetop a safe, welcoming, and positive place. It is important that students understand not only what we expect from them, but also why those expectations matter and how their choices impact those around them.
Our fall sports competitions also got underway this week! It has been exciting to see our Raiders representing in track and girls fastpitch. We are proud of our student-athletes and appreciate our coaches, families, and everyone who comes out to support them.
We also have some fun opportunities to connect as a school community this coming week! We have our first Raider Family Lunch and our Fall Back To School Social this coming Friday! These are always two great events. A big thank you to our PTSA for all their work in partnering with us on both of these events!
As we head into the weekend, thank you for continuing to partner with us. We are off to a great start, and we appreciate everything our families do to reinforce the expectations, relationships, and sense of community we are working to build here.
